A genuine, supportive team culture

We don’t simply promote Belonging, Inclusion and Diversity because we think they’re nice to have. We know that they’re essential and bring enormous value to every aspect of our business and the people within it. We want to provide a real sense of belonging where people are free to be their true selves. We value an environment where Belonging Inclusion and Diversity for Success (BIDs) is not just everyone’s right, it’s everyone’s job. Not just an opportunity to speak your mind and drive positive change, but a responsibility.

Employee Resource Groups – Find your community

At ResMed we strive to create a workplace where everyone feels comfortable to be themselves. We encourage employees to actively support each other in making a difference.

ResPect

ResPect is the employee resource group for our LGBTIQA+ global ResMedians and friends. LGBTIQA+ is an evolving acronym that stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer/ Questioning, Asexual and many other terms (such as non-binary and pansexual) that people use to describe their experiences of their gender, sexuality and physiological sex characteristics.

Our mission as an ERG is “ A ResPectful ResMed where LGBTIQA+ people belong and diversity is celebrated”. We work to raise awareness of issues and to drive positive change.

Black Excellence

Recent events have brought to light the continued inequity that exists for People of Colour in our society and by extension for POC professionals in the business world. Our Black Excellence Employee Resource Group was created to give a voice to all POC ResMedians in our businesses across the globe.

HOLA

HOLA, Hispanic/Latinx Organization of Leaders in Action, supports people who are of Hispanic and LAtinX background and those that appreciate the culture. The group drives cultural awareness at ResMed and creates opportunities to support one another through social networking and professional development events.

LEAN

LEAN, Ladies Empowering Active Networking, is the ERG for women and allies. LEAN focuses on professional development opportunities and social networking events. The group provides a space to discuss industry trends, engage in mentorship and support, and seek out community outreach opportunities.

At ResMed we believe in enabling a culture of organic and open diversity and inclusion conversations where our people feel free to speak up, a culture of listening and learning is enabled and we can share perspectives of how to build on our inclusive culture.
