How we hire

What to expect when you apply for a role with us.

We apply global best practice when recruiting for any role at ResMed. By the time we talk to you about a potential role, we’ll have done a lot of work with our team to make sure we’ve identified the needs and defined the role . We’ll make sure that job descriptions are clear about any pre-requisite qualifications or experience required and that you feel respected, engaged and informed at every stage.

We use different approaches for different types of roles. In some cases we may use mobile enabled screening in the first instance that can be useful in helping us to avoid unconscious bias. For other roles, our process is mobile-enabled to make the initial application easy and quick using your LinkedIn profile or resume.

Generally, in the screening stages we would focus on:

  • Skills, education and relevant experience that closely match the requirements of the position.
  • Passion in your role and evidence of progression within an organization.
  • Previous employers.
  • Evidence of preferred behaviours and competencies.
